Dear stamp collectors. (I am also in 100stamps club and 50stamp club so please mention which one are you sending it from)
I am editing my profile on May 27 2025. If you have sent me anything according to my ex profile, no worries, I will rate it 5 stars.
I am a member of these stamp forums less than a year. I learned appreciating of what other member choses and sends to me. It takes a lot of time and effort to chose so I will value anything you send to me as 5 stars. I understand that some members have restricted collection and can't satisfy our wishes. I was more picky before but now I think we should all be more tolerant and respectful to each other.
I accept whatever you have available for me. Even if they are the stamps you are trying to get rid of, that is fine. I send unwanted stamps to an association in Bielefeld Germany and some people with disabilities or mental problems classify them and this is a therapy for them. If anyone wants me to share the address, please send me a post.
Still if you think some tips will help you to select stamps for me, I will list some here, but know that it is only if you have a lot to share and want to know my interests.
I collect ww, mint and used, old and new. Actually I am fascinated by old stamps, before 1950's. Older the better. With these old stamps I don't care small damages.
I have some themes:
1) famous authors especially anything related to Goethe, Europien composers (Mahler, Liszt, any impressionist painter or his art (Monet, Morrisot etc), any expressionist artist or his art (Schiele, Kokoschka, 20th century Russian artists and arts (Ilja Repin).
2) Anything related to human rights, democracy, women's rights, freedom, war (especially 2. World War)
3) Any stamp showing scripts or caligraphy with Chinese-Japanese characters.
4) Stamp motive on a stamp. Coin motive on a stamp
5) Arkeological finds especially old pottery or museum objects.
6) Skiing.
7) Libraries, universities, post offices
8) Newspapers, books, mail
9) Any stamps from Austria: old or new
10) Europa-Cept
11) UPU 150
12) 2024 Paris Olympics
13) Old colonial countries stamps
14) Anything related to Sri Lanka
Please don't worry if you have nothing in my interests. There is still something you can do to make me very happy:
I started collecting regular size envelopes: just put a nice stamp/stamps on it from your country. Please don't print my address. Even if your hand writing is not nice, I adore it as an art. And please no stickers or washi-tapes on the envelope. (If you want to decorate the envelope, you can draw something on it if you have the ability. Asian members, you can write something in your own language on the envelope. I will also consider this as an art and I will appreciate it).
Thank you very much for sending me stamps.
